hahahaha. pansin ko lang parang wala nang masyadong nagtata-tag dito sa blog ko ah. tila lahat ata ng mga tao ay nasa livejournal na. hahahahaha!

anyway, we watched hellboy today. and fascinatingly enough it was good. it was even funny. i didn't expect it was going to be like that. astig si selma blair dun. makes me think that if ever gagawing movie ang sandman (which i highly doubt) selma blair would make a good Death. hahaha. wala lang. just a thought.

im so happy. ive seen two movies in two days and i got to see them both for free! thanks to paeng for the school of rock tickets, and thanks to quark for the hellboy tickets.

had a weird trip home. after dropping mark off at his house (we shared a cab) the cab driver asked me who i was going to vote as president. (now this was a first since i normally ask that question to cab drivers asking them who they were going to vote from president to senators, asking them if they know mar roxas---now you know why mar is no. 1---hehehe. joke) i said i didn't really know. maybe roco. maybe arroyo. as soon as the word ARROYO came out of my mouth, he went into a frenzy! i don't really want to put down here what he said cause they were really mean. so in order to calm him down i asked him who he was going to vote for president. and without hesitation and with one hand on the wheel and the other hand raised into a fist, he said,"LACSON!!!". and with such conviction, you can hear it in his voice. and he goes on ticking off the good points of having lacson as president. im sure by now some of you are already reacting violently towards this. as i was about to kanina.

but then i listened to the man.

and it gave me insight on how other people see the may 11 elections. to many, the elections would mean a change, not only in governance, but also a change in their lives, though not so dramatic but significant enough that it can be felt. for me kasi, i really don't take the elections seriously primarily because i won't get to vote. and to me it's all one big joke anyway. but right now it saddens me to think that i just threw away my chance to vote because i wasn't able to register because i was too lazy to get in line and get registered. it saddens me to think that not being able to vote would mean that i would not be able to contribute to a change that this country so needs. that one vote may seem insignificant but really it matters a lot. in the end, every vote counts in order for a candidate to win. so for those who are thinking of not voting please think again. i know the primary reason for not voting is the belief na wala rin namang mangyayari. lahat din naman sila corrupt eh. kung di pa, pag nasa puwesto na, magiging corrupt din. but i believe in active citizenship, which starts with exercising the right to vote, and voting wisely. when your main man who's not corrupt wins, as a citizen who voted for him and put him in office, you should be part of the check and balance system that makes sure that main man up there does his job. and does it well.

crap. nagiging preachy nako. hahahahahaha! i guess naapektuhan lang talaga ako dun sa conversation namin nung cab driver.

as a last note, if fpj wins, "don't you think you should be running away" ang theme ng buhay natin.
